Born from the passionate ambitions of its technology collaborators, Victrix is a high-level consulting firm that has provided an alternative to traditional services available in the market since 2003. Victrix has three offices interconnected through VPNs and has over 120 employees working remotely at customer sites, making bandwidth and connectivity crucial.
 

Challenges:

  • Business model needs to be able to transfer a lot of data, link saturation is an issue
  • When an ISP link fails, the business impact is significant enough to cause productivity losses
  • VPN connections for mobile users are critical, many employees work from remote or customer sites
  • Site-to-site VPN tunnels between locations are also critical to ensure proper operations

Solution:

  • Elfiq LB-1100E and LB-1000 units provide the ability to manage the required ISPs for each location
  • SitePathMTPX technology is used for site-to-site VPN tunnels for performance and resilience
  • SitePathMTPX also complements Citrix WANScaler WAN accelerators already in place
  • Incremental bandwidth has been added, low-cost providers are used and more can be added easily in the future to meet new bandwidth requirements
