MPLS

Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) links are being used more and more in the telecom design of many organizations with multiple locations. When these types of ISP services are used, redundancy is typically very limited and incremental bandwidth costs can be prohibitive.

MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) Load Balancing

With Elfiq’s products in place, organizations can combine their MPLS links with public ISP links and the use of a site to site VPN tunnel. With this approach, the two main concerns over MPLS networks can be addressed with the use of incremental ISP links for performance along with alternative technologies such as cable modems to provide maximum uptime when the MPLS becomes unavailable.

Feature Description Benefits
Core Technologies Enable the use of multiple ISP link
  • Provides a redundant telecom infrastructure
  • More ISP links add more performance
  • Enables bandwidth provider diversification to prevent downtime
Intelligent Condition Verificator
Elfiq

Enables complex confition-based configuration
  • Existing configurations can be dynamically adjusted based on selected criteria
  • Common usage inclues usage of links based on cost, altering priorities based on link comditions or failure and statistics reset
LAN Failsafe
elfiq lan failsafe
Continues operations with 1 ISP if the unit loses power
  • Even if the Elfiq unit is physically powered off, communications continue normally through the primary link which in this case is the MPLS link
High Availability
Elfiq HA
Redundant unit management
  • Enables maximum uptime for bandwidth availability for high-demand environments
