The affordable Elfiq LB-550B Link Balancer brings enterprise-level performance and features to small businesses around the world to proactively enable Internet link load balancing across multiple ISP links and failover. With Elfiq’s exclusive Layer-2 design for inline transparent installation and utilization, organizations can manage two ISP links with a total throughput of 25Mbps to ensure maximum uptime and added the performance of a second ISP link without redesigning their network.
The 3 major benefits
Starting from:US$ 1795.00*
(MSRP)
The LB-550B enables the use of any ISP link including low-cost circuits such as DSL and cable modems and the use of wireless links like 3G mobile access and WiMAX as well for efficent link balancing. By combining links for incremental bandwidth, users of the Elfiq Internet Link Balancer LB-550B realize significant gains in productivity, uptime and a reduction of operational costs.
Like the Elfiq enterprise products Quality of Service (QoS), traffic segmentation, SIP awareness, inbound traffic management and advanced balancing algorithms are included in the LB-550B to provide optimized bandwidth based on organizational requirements and policies. Should the unit lose power, traffic is enabled to flow with Elfiq’s innovative LAN Failsafe feature.
The LB-550B can be upgraded to the LB-550E or the LB-1100E models through software should the needs of the organization require more ISP links, greater throughput, private link management and/or SitePathMTPX. The LB-550B also comes with a 1U mounting kit.

"At Europ Auto we chose Elfiq’s Link Balancer to help us maintain a reliable and fast access to the Internet as we operate an e-commerce type business specialized in online car rentals and are a Peugeot distributor. We run a 24X7 operation through the web site and this addition will help us secure more business every day as customers never experience any connection issues.
Elfiq’s products not only deliver on their promise but they also did not tax our budgets. We could not be happier with this decision and we highly recommend your organization does the same!”

Xavier Giraud, CEO
Europ Auto
The Elfiq load balancer has allowed us to pair a relatively low cost cable internet connection, which can sometime be unreliable, with a more reliable T1 connection that is monitored by the provider and has much, much less downtime. This allows us to guarantee that our guests do not have any interruption in their connection to the internet.
In the short time that we have had the Elfiq load balancer, we have already had two sessions of a training course in an application that does a large amount of data transfer that have gone extremely well. This course is held almost every month at the property and is a very intense and time consuming course. When a disconnect with the internet occurs, this causes this group to lose valuable training time.
With the Elfiq load balancer, the group stayed connected to the internet all throughout their training session and they did not lose any training time. The trainers have said that with the Elfiq load balancer installed, the internet connection has been the best they have ever seen it here at the property and they said that they had no problems whatsoever during the training sessions.
