Elfiq combining internet connectionOne key question which we get is "How to combine Internet connections" with a device/process/strategy.  This question is at the core of the reason for Elfiq being in business!

Our Link Balancer products enable organizations to combine two or more Internet connections at a single site.  The benefits of doing so include:

  • Maximum uptime, if an ISP goes down the second (or more) will be there to continue network operations until service is restored
  • Increased throughput, by using more than one ISP concurrently you can share the load and give more to your users
  • Cost reduction through the use of low-cost carriers like DSL and cable modems to offset the cost of higer priced links like fiber, DS3s and T1s for key activities like web surfing, where the asymetric nature of the traffic is better suited on these links
