Many regions were hit yesterday, by Internet access outages for various reasons.  The good news for Elfiq customers is that they were not affected by these incidents as they  have multiple ISP links from multiple carriers using multiple connectivity technoogies.

Interesting article on bandwidth for remote offices

Processor Magazine has an interesting article discussing lower-cost alternatives to T1 circuits for remote offices with cost impacts.  All these link technologies can be used concurrently with an Elfiq unit, and by comining all these elements organizations can add a significant amount of bandwidth while reducing overall costs for telecom links and improving redundancy
