A little known fact about Elfiq desktop models is that they support multiple versions of the Elfiq Operating System, therefore are upgradable!
So when an organization acquires a LB-550E it can be upgraded to the LB-1100E, bringing longevity to a product and enabling growth against current and future needs.

We just released to partners and customers today EOS 3.4.0 for all balancer models from the LB-500 to the LB-4000E. What's new and exciting in this release:

The LB-550B and LB-550E can both be upgraded via firmware to the LB-1100E so when an organization needs to bring in more carriers or throughput, the unit is upgraded versus replaced reducing costs and complexity.
