We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

 

Technical Support - Product Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Level 2 customer support and pager availability for remote support
  • Pre-sales technical support, presentations and technical recommendations of Elfiq products
  • Local and remote unit pre-configuration and installation
  • Participate in functional testing of our Link Balancer product and proprietary operating system (Elfiq Operating System/EOS) 
  • Diagnostics and replication of technical issues in lab
  • Technical documentation

General Requirements

  • Communication: excellent spoken and written English & French
  • Education: college degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience
  • Must be dynamic, detail-oriented and a self-starter, show initiative and be flexible
  • Teamwork-oriented

Technical Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with networking and TCP/IP
  • Experience with OSI model, routers, firewall and switches (Cisco, Nortel, Juniper, 3Com, etc)
  • 2 years of experience with Linux
  • Optional: experience with sniffers like Ethereal.

Developper - telecommunication products

Responsibilities

  • Design, test and integrate modules for Elfiq's prorietaty Elfiq Operating System (EOS)
  • Produce documentation within programming framework
  • Participate in timeline projections with the development team
  • Optimization of business processes relative to development activities
  • Document, produce and fix programs with complexity ranging from medium to advanced
  • Support and collaborate for the Q&A process
  • Diagnose problems and provide solutions to technical application issues

General Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C
  • Education: university degree in computer sciences, computer engineering or equivalent experience
  • Communication: proficient in French, bilingualism (English) desirable
  • Must be dynamic, detail-oriented and a self-starter, show initiative and be flexible
  • Teamwork-oriented

Technical Requirements

  • Expert-level C development with 5 years+ experience with Linux-based components including: kernel compilation, driver creation, multi-threaded environments, locks and optimized data structures
  • Advanced Linux experience (5+ years) with scripts, shells, Perl, makefile
  • Intermediate networking with 3+ years hand-on experience: TCP/IP, OSI model, Ethernet, DNS, DHCP, SSH, QoS, ARP, 802.11Q, VoIP, VPN and IP-based protocols
  • Experience with network analysis tools (Ethereal, etc.)
  • Experience with routers, firewalls and switches (Cisco, Nortel, Linux, Juniper, 3Com, etc.)

Account Executive

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect for new accounts in specific territories and verticals
  • Manage existing accounts in a specific territory
  • Define and execute a business development strategy
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Build and grow relations with reseller partners

Desired profile

  • Ability to build strong business relationships with customers and convince prospects
  • Ability to open new doors and find new customers
  • Solid understanding of information technology and telecommunications products
  • Preferred: experience in sales verticals either in technology or specific business sectors
  • Minimum of two years of experience in corporate sales, information technology or telecommunications products
  • Experience working with reseller partners is an asset
  • Results oriented, always looking to exceed objectives
  • Essential: excellent spoken and written English, territory is Canada and US
  • Self-motivated
  • Leader, good interpersonal skills and teamwork-oriented
