Elfiq Networks' products are optimized for environments utilizing the SIP protocol, commonly used in voice over IP applications.  This enhancement enables Elfiq's products to compensate for the challenge of handling SIP-based traffic through for link balancing implementations.

With Elfiq's Link Balancers, many scenarios are possible including:

  • The use of multiple SIP trunks accross multiple ISP links while maintaining session persistence
  • SIP trunk failover should the designated ISP link not be available, the Elfiq Link Balancer manages the addressing for the replacement link
  • Connecting remote SIP clients to an on-premise PBX
  • Connecting multiple SIP clients to an off-premise PBX
  • Connecting two PBXs together which are at different locations when Elfiq's SitePathMTPX technology is not in use because there is not an Elfiq unit at each site.
