When the requirement for high resilience between any number of sites is required, Elfiq Link Load balancers can be installed and used with any combination of links. By configuring the units in pairs as High Availability units, there is no single point of failure. Since links are typically provided with 99.5% availability, the down-time of your links is nearly 2 days per year. By simply adding another link with the same availability to spread the risk, you can reduce this to less than 15 minutes a year and look to deliver a highly available network with carrier type characteristics. Elfiq recommends different technologies like satellite, xDSL, cable, fiber and wireless from different ISPs.
Mixing your Private and Public network

Geographical Site Load Balancing
The Elfiq Load Balancing family is able to load balance across multiple sites using its unique GeoLink encapsulation method with encryption, meaning that traffic can be redirected across continents in the case of problems or faults at a site. This enables you to load balance IP services between sites (mirror sites) or provide access to a service via an alternate site and a private link - a key element of your disaster recovery plan (DRP).
